The Anime Links Page
This is my Anime Links page. Not too many links on it yet; I'm going to organize it differently once I get some content up.
Series:
BubbleGum Crisis
BGC is an excellent Cyberpunk anime. It takes place in MegaTokyo in 2032, a place where the Genom Corporation controls most of Japan through bribery and blackmail. Genom is the primary manufacturer of Boomers, humaniod robots originally intended to free humanity form physical labor. Howver, Boomers have become a curse as well as a blessing, and Genom uses them as weapons of terror to tighten it's stranglehold on MegaTokyo.

Invasion America
Invasion America isn't exactly anime -- it's an american prime-time animated miniseries based on Christie Golden's novel. The first part aired on june 4th, and consisted of 5 hour-long episodes
and a 90 minute finale.
IA is essentially America's entry into serious animation, not just disney-kiddie stuff and saturday morining cartoons. It may not be quite on the level with Japanese anime yet, but it's a good story and definitely a step in the right direction for the US!!!
IA is brodcast by the WB network. It occupies sortof an experimental status as the first primetime animated in the US, and it's continued existence depends on viewer support!!!
Go to the WB official Invasion America message board and support American Animation!!!
